Power-On Issues with a Factory-Defaulted ILC-xx0 Controller
Troubleshooting
An ILC-xx0 from the factory requires commissioning in order to function within a system. When an ILC-xx0 initially powers up, its on-board LED indicator will illuminate GREEN (solid) which indicates that it has not been commissioned. In addition to the GREEN led, the discovered NAME of a non-commissioned ILC-xx0 will also show up in Red text (within the e-Node web page/CS-Bus section) There are two conditions that must occur before the GREEN LED will turn YELLOW which causes the Red text turns Black . These conditions are (i)a UID has to be set (to a unique number from any other ILC-xx0 device) and (ii) the ADDRESS must be set to a non-zero value (i.e., 2.1.0 as the factory default needs to be set with some Zone/Group/Node address that does not contain a zero ("0"). Until such time as the Zone/Group/Node address is set to the factory default, no control of the ILC-xx0 is possible and therefore its connected load (tape light or other) will not illuminate.
