Downstream Controller Connection Block.
There are three downstream Bus communication ports on each e-Node. Please refer to instructions below on the use of these ports.
- Port 0 (CS-Bus Port)--Note applicable currently in DMX Mode.
This port is only operational when the e-Node/xxxx is in PURE Mode. A CAT5 or better wire with RJ-25 (6P6C) terminators must be plugged into Port 0 (marked on PCB) and then run in a daisy-chain format to each ILC-xx0 sequentially until the last ILC-xx0 is reached. Port 1 on any ILC-xx0 must be connected thereafter to Port 0 on the the next subsequent ILC-xx0 controller--it does not matter how you start on the first unit, but make sure you continue the logic of Port 1 to Port 0 for any two ILC-xx0 connected together.
- Port 1 or Port 2 (DMX Port).
These two Ports 1 and 2 (used on the e-Node 2100/4100) are bused together internally within the e-Node 2100/4110. These ports are only to be used on the e-Node 2100/4100 Gateways when connecting to DMX (decoders) downstream.
The pin-outs on these Ports are documented in the Quick Start Guide for e-Node/dmx 2100/4100.
