IQA-IP- IR Internet Protocol Adapter 

for IMC Series Controllers

The  IQA-IP-IR is a standalone Internet web server for remote access to one or more targeted Infrared (IR) devices.. This unique interface adapter can be plugged anywhere on the communication bus that interconnects one or more IMC Controllers or simply to an Internet connection and automatically generates an Internet Protocol (IP) data stream (web page)  that can drive any remote web access Wireless (802.11b/g) Access Point (customer provided) or other hardwired Ethernet device. For customers desiring wireless connectivity, any customer provided Wi-Fi (802.11b/g) compatible PocketPC, notepad or tablet can then be used to provide standard wireless control of IMC Controllers. An innovative dual processor configuration within the IQA-IPA™ supports fast network communication while providing exceedingly fast generation and processing of keypad (menu button) web pages embedded within the Interface. When connected to an Access Point and a compatible wireless remote device, a set of keypad motifs similar to those found on Creston/AMX or Elan Home System VIA touch panels can be accessed and activated to control an IR capable device through an IR transmitter that is connected to the on-board connector whether inside or outside the home and without wires or power cables.
